Mastering the Mayhem: Canada & Australia in a World of Trade Chaos

24 October 2018 | 7:30AM - 9:45AM

The global economy is facing significant turbulence. On an almost daily basis, the world is faced with political volatility, populist uprisings, the protectionism contagion, and rising interest rates that have elevated emerging market uncertainty. What's worse, we are ten years beyond the last recession and some believe the next one is imminent. Amid the confusion, global growth is accelerating. Does any of this make sense? And where do Canada and Australia fit in? Hear from Peter Hall on how to piece this challenging puzzle into a picture that reveals the global economy’s future path – and your next move.

This event is for:

  • Canadian exporters and investors into Australia;
  • Partners who can support these Canadian investors and exporters;
  • Business people interested in a Canadian and Australian perspective on current economic affairs and how to operate within these changing realities.

Morning includes a light breakfast. This is an invitation-only event.
